Tasting Notes

Think Red is a blend of 40% Aragónes (Tempranillo),30% Catelão, and 30% Trincadeira and has ripe and opulent fruity flavors of strawberries, Think Red cherries and raspberries on the nose.  The Aragónes adds some structure and cherry flavor.  The Catelão delivers the intense fruity flavors while the Trincadeira balances the wine and adds a touch of elegance which carries through the long finish with soft tannins.

Vineyards

Think Red is sourced from the best vineyards in the Alentejo region of Portugal, an emerging region in Europe known for producing quality wines at a remarkable value.  The climate is continental with very little rainfall thus keeping the yields amazingly low.  The gentle undulating hills are composed of mainly granite and schist, ideal for vineyards.  The grapes were hand-harvested at the optimum ripeness from 20 year-old-vines.
