Fair Trade Certified™ - Fair Trade Wine

The Wandering Grape Cabernet Sauvignon – Shiraz was produced from Fair Trade Certified™ grapes from the local small farms surrounding the Du Toitkloof in the Breede River Valley of the Western Cape, South Africa.  Twenty-two farms supplied hand picked grapes from low yielding vines averaging 10-years-old.  Fair Trade Certified™ directly supports a better life for farming families in the developing world through fair prices, community development and environmental stewardship.

With every glass, you can directly help the grower, their community and the environment.  The communities have used their Fair Trade sales to fund projects, such as day care for preschool children, health care facilities, a community center, computers, and adult literacy programs. The wine is bottled and labeled using recycled materials and look for the Fair Trade Certified™ label to know that every glass matters!

This food friendly wine pairs exceptionally well with roasted or grilled meats, mature cheeses, or simply on its own.
