The Wandering Grape Sauvignon Blanc was produced with Fair Trade Certified™ grapes sourced from the community of Talca in the central part of the Maule Valley, Chile. A small farm supplies the hand harvested grapes from low yielding vines. Fair Trade Certified™ directly supports a better life for farming families in the developing world through fair prices, community development and environmental stewardship.
With every glass, you can directly help the grower, their community and the environment. The Fair Trade sales are currently being utilized to provide health care for the members. As sales increase, the members are planning to provide scholarships for their children so they have a better opportunity to uplift the community and develop the necessary business skills to succeed. Tasting Notes

Vineyards
The Wandering Grapes are sourced from a 15 acre vineyard in the Maule Valley, near the town of Talca. The hand harvested, Fair Trade Certified™ grapes are from low yielding, 13-year-old vines. The vineyard is planted in clay in the central part of the Maule Valley. The climate is continental with an average rainfall during the growing season of less than two inches. The temperatures during the summer growing season can range between 55° to 84° Fahrenheit.
